A chamada de trabalhos para o ICET (International Council on Education for Teaching)<\/strong> \u00a0foram prorrogadas para o dia 16 de mar\u00e7o<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

O ICET<\/strong> – International Council on Education for Teaching , \u00e9 uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o internacional fundada em 1953 \u00a0com objetivo, dentre outros, de contribuir para o desenvolvimento da forma\u00e7\u00e3o de professores em uma perspectiva internacional e em articula\u00e7\u00e3o com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que trabalham neste dom\u00ednio.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A associa\u00e7\u00e3o promove reuni\u00f5es anuais. Este ano ser\u00e1 60\u00aa reuni\u00e3o e acontecer\u00e1 \u00a0na Jamaica<\/strong>, na Universidade de West Indies<\/strong>. Nos \u00faltimos 4 anos os eventos \u00a0foram no Jap\u00e3o (2015), no Canad\u00e1 (2014), na Tail\u00e2ndia (2013), e em Gana (2012). A Am\u00e9rica latina est\u00e1 representada no conselho de diretores (board of directors) do ICET por dois membros brasileiros, a professora Maria das Gra\u00e7as Mizukami e por mim.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

CALL FOR PAPERS<\/div>\n
ICET 2016 will focus on ideas, issues, challenges and practices relating to the improved quality of teachers and teaching. This 60th World Assembly will provide an interdisciplinary forum for educators, policy makers, researchers, NGOs, public\/private stakeholders and learners to present papers and presentations on (but not limited to) the following strands:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022Improving the preparation, lifelong growth and development of educators at all levels: -pedagogy and practice in teacher education, professional development, continuous teacher learning, teacher leadership, preparation of \u00a0teacher educators, research perspectives on teaching and teachers<\/div>\n
\u2022Preparing educators for tomorrow\u2019s challenges: – creating sustainable societies through Education for Sustainable Development, transformative teaching and learning, futures thinking, social learning, socio-ecological pedagogies; – teaching and learning in a digital age, new technologies, new literacies, global connectivity: -Assuring teacher quality issues relating to accountability, evaluation, accreditation, governance and program quality, policy, policy development<\/div>\n
\u2022Closing the gap and building the teaching profession: -issues of recruitment, retention, attrition and professionalization<\/div>\n
\u2022Ensuring Inclusiveness: -helping teachers embrace diversity and difference, closing gender gaps, special needs, exceptionalities, different sexualities<\/div>\n
